Fallowing its cousins in the Tri-Five era we have the beautiful redesigned 58. This big sedan with its extravagant stylings was only available one year and remain a hard to find classic! Of course there is the Impalas that bring HUGE money, but why? Here you can have the same style with the 58 Delray! The 58 brings a lot of presence and this is a lot of style and class for the money. The body on this car looks good and all of the chrome lines up well from panel to panel. The trim shines true and bright and the same can be said for the bumpers! Pictures will show this car is stunning from every angle. The paint looks good and has a nice shine as well. All of the glass on this car is clear and easy to see trough. The bottom of the doors are sharp and the rocker panels are solid. You can tell this restoration was centered on looks and performance that is for sure!
When you pop the hood you will notice a nice LOW MILEAGE crate 350 that rests between the fenders and it looks right at home! The firewall has been cleaned up and the whole bay has been painted with attention to detail! It shines just as well as the rest of the car. It breaths through a nice custom exhaust that allows this 350 to sound the way one should. This car starts, runs and drives incredibly well! This engine is matched with a column shift 3spd manual that shifts smooth and hits every gear with ZERO issues.
The interior is cool as can be and the styling of the exterior is carried inside as well! The door panels have been rewrapped and they look great with the trim and painted panels next to the cloth. All hardware on the doors works as it should. The seats have been rewrapped and look to have never been sat on before. The dash and every piece of panel work that can be color matched has been! All of these pieces have been painted with the same attention to detail as the exterior. The carpet is NEW and clean. The headliner is TIGHT and clean also! The gauges are clear and easy to read. With power disc brakes up front this car stops as good as it goes.
