Here is your chance to own a NICE 68 Charger and a true 440 RT by VIN! The fit and finish on this car are good and it drives like an absolute dream. As pictures will show the contours are smooth and the lines are crisp! Full quarters have been done and they were hung VERY WELL! The doors shut as they should to reveal panel gaps that are nice and clean. The bottom of the doors are SHARP and have no signs of big chunky bondo. The rockers are also solid and straight. The paint was laid out well and it is a VERY nice driver! All of the small details help tie this car together very well. The factory tinted glass is clear, the trim has all been polished to shine as true and bright as the rear bumper. The headlights are CLEAR and free of cracks. The headlight doors, still on vacuum work well. The suspension has been ran through and it is CLEAN with all new Moog bushings.
This car starts, runs and drives SO WELL! It is an incredible experience.
The engine bay is CLEAN and the 440 is STRONG. The 440, rebuilt with high compression pistons is not original to the car... but is about as close as you can get for a date correct motor. Casting is 2536430.9 that will decode to a 66-72 440 RB with a born on date of 11-6-68! The 727 trans hits every gear with NO issues and will not let you down in ANY way! The SureGrip rear was also rebuilt and hosts 3.23 gears. It has also received an upgraded Fi-Tech fuel injection system that included a new stainless tank with internal pump and fuel line. You will also notice that the ORIGINAL radiator support with 329112 sequence number is STRAIGHT and CLEAN. It runs nice and cool with an upgraded aluminum radiator. You will also notice a trans cooler has been added.
The interior is beautiful with carpets that are clean and free of any rips or stains. The seats are incredible and show minimal signs of wear. The headliner is clean as well! The dash mat looks brand new and is free of any sun damage. The dash was pulled and color matched with a new factory tinted windshield added to match the rest of the glass on the car. The gauges look good and are easy to read. I have included a picture of the fender tag to break down. It was born a factory AC, Green on Green on Green car. I LOVE the changes that were made and it looks INCREDIBLE! It hosts most of the modern features we want without giving up the classic MOPAR collector look. With Fuel Injection, 4 wheel disc breaks, drilled and slotted rotors, and NEW power steering you will have a collector that you will LOVE to drive!
This car is ready to drive with NO issues! We have went through it and it is SOLID! No surprises besides the smile you will get when you start this car and mash the gas!
