1969 Ford Torino Cobra Jet
Have a look at this NUMBERS MATCHING 428 powered! This survivor car was built in the Atlanta factory in 69 and has had ONE repaint! At first glance you will notice this Q-code boasts a body that consists SMOOTH contours and CRISP lines. All panel gaps line up well and the doors open and close as they should. The glass is in great condition and easy to see through. All door edges are crisp and SHARP with NO bondo. The rocker panels are nice as well. This restoration is nice and gets a lot of looks! The stance of this car is just as Ford intended it to be with Argent styled steel wheels, period correct radial tires with raised white lettering and hosts EVERYTHING correct to the Marty report besides color (originally black)! !
Between the fenders rests the 428 that has been nicely detailed and runs great being brought back to life maintaining OEM Ford spec in the rebuild! It is paired to 4-speed close ratio manual transmission. This car shifts smooth and PULLS HARD through EVERY SINGLE GEAR! The car also sounds incredible withthe correct style dual exhaust! This car starts with the turn of a key first time and every time. With its original competition suspension, power brakes and power steering it is so much fun to drive. It runs super cool from stop light to stop light and is a joy to drive on the highway with a 3.50 Traction-Loc rear diff. This survivor car is a show stopper!
The interior is nice with new carpet that is free of stains or rips. The seats are in great condition and looks to have never been sat on before. The dash is NICE with FULL gauges that are easy to read. The original AM radio is in place and the ORIGINAL spare rests in the trunk! The door panels have been reworked and look incredible. All hardware works as it should also. The headliner is TIGHT and clean.
